How difficult is it to flash my phone?

If you have basic computer knowledge and can follow directions you can flash your phone. To get started you will need several items.
1.) Flashing software ( which you can get at http://www.yourcellular.net/need_help.htm)


2.) A USB cable for the phone you're flashing ( same cable used to download music)

3.) A computer with Windows 2000 or Newer, a USB Port, 800Mhz+, 256MB RAM

4.) A CDMA cell phone( a phone not with AT&T or T-Mobile )
 
The next step is to flash your phone.
 
1.) You will need to unlock your phone from the factory settings.
2.) Download the appropriate drives for your computer
3.) Get the appropriate code for the new carrier.
4.) Flash to the new carrier.

What kind of cell phones can be flashed?

The Networks


 There are two major networks for cell phone carriers. They are GSM or Global System for Mobile Communications. Examples are AT&T and T-Mobile The second CDMA or Code Division Multiple Access.Examples are Qwest, Metro PCS, Sprint ,Verizon, Cricket, Rogers to name a few. To flash your phone it must be CDMA. If you are not sure what kind of phone you have remove the battery and look for a sims chip below it. If you have the sims your phone is GSM and can not be flashed.
